Each sectoral partner—CEPISS, IMPULSA EGUALDAD, MORAL COMPASS, and GIMEM—is hosting a webinar. The main goal of these webinars is to engage in discussions about the progress of project and the activities conducted thus far. This initiative will facilitate sharing insights and updates on the ongoing work and contributions from each partner.
In this webinar, the sectoral partner Impulsa Igualdad is leading the discussion and sharing insights with their guests about the research activities of WP2. The webinar features Myriam Arnáiz Caballero, Technical Director of the Personal Autonomy and Independent Living Area, Ana Rosa Sánchez Jiménez (a blonde-haired woman), Social Technician in the Autonomy and Independent Living Area for people with disabilities, and Ana Aguaron, also a Social Technician in the same area. This area is dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities and addressing their needs in relation to achieving independent living.
In this webinar, the sectoral partner Coperativa CEPISS takes the lead in discussing and sharing insights with their guests on the research activities of WP2. The event features Giulia Moretti and Mario Paiano, members of the partner organization Centro Machiavelli. The Centre is actively involved in VET activities, coordinating and partnering in EU multilateral mobility projects within programs such as Erasmus+, in collaboration with EU and third-country partners. Other guests include Barbara Giacomelli and Claudia Socini, educators from CEPISS. The project coordinator and the Cooperative's core activities focus on early childhood education, support services for individuals with disabilities, training, school and career guidance, and music initiation for youth.
In this webinar, GIMEM – Gölcük District Directorate of National Education led a discussion on the research activities of WP2, sharing insights with participants, including SEN teachers, trainers, and the project management team. The session covered desk and field research reports, best practices, AAC methodology courses, and the results of a focus group questionnaire. The 2nd Webinar of the Work Package 3 of the project, led by Impulsa Igualdad, focused on the practical application of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools before field research in Romania. Participants discussed how AAC systems—such as communication books and symbol boards—can support people with communication barriers in sectors like education, healthcare, and tourism. The session emphasized user-led design, the importance of training, and the balance between standardization and personalization, highlighting AAC’s role in promoting autonomy, inclusion, and dignity.
